Weather Make-Up Days CMS designates five make-up days for weather closures, used in this order: Jan 18 (MLK Day), Feb 15, Mar 25, Jun 10, and Jun 11. The superintendent may waive up to four make-up days. North Carolina law (S.L. 2022-59) also authorizes remote instruction for emergency closures.
